Radcliffe wants to prove himself

Sacramento Sun (IANS) Tuesday 7th February, 2012

Actor Daniel Radcliffe hopes to prove himself with his new movie where he plays a widowed father.

The 22-year-old actor hopes the movie "Woman in Black" will prove he is more than just a baby-faced actor destined for teen movies.

"It's hard when you're young to find good parts that also require you to be leading, or having a relatively prominent role in the piece," showbizspy.com quoted Radcliffe as saying.

"I've actually been quite lucky throughout my career to be able to play characters at the age they are. It's only now that I'm starting to play kind of outside of my own age. The challenge is to keep busy and showing you want to work, do a variety of things and take risks," he added.
